Holy Myself Bottle

Is the accelerating technology eroding our sense of who we are? Would you print your own face for decoration? A world of 3D printing may have some important implications in the definition of taste, beauty and identity, in a society in which people define themselves by the stuff they own. The question of erosion of identity is examined through the possibility of 3D printing your own features into the shape of a holy bottle. Bottles in Lourdes have not changed for a long time. This 3D printed bottle is a scan of my own face added onto a feminine body wearing a traditional virgin outfit that has been scanned too. Using technology to update features takes the object to another level dimension of representation as well as the reflection on the representation choice.
